Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Esotarot (“we”, “us”), an interactive tarot reading service available at esotarot.pro. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. Esotarot is operated by Roger W. Andrews, an individual based in Ontario, Canada.
1. The service
Esotarot is a digital software service — an interactive entertainment and media platform delivered over the web. The service provides automated, interactive digital goods: software-generated written readings composed from a randomised card draw, a saved history of them, optional alternative card artwork, and synthesized audio assets (narration produced by text-to-speech). All of it is intended strictly for entertainment and wellness purposes.
What you are buying is access to software. Every reading is generated automatically by a language model from the cards drawn — no human reader, adviser, medium or practitioner is involved, and no service is performed for you by a person.
Readings are for entertainment and personal reflection only. They are not a prediction of the future, a statement of fact about you or anyone else, or professional advice, and must not be relied on for legal, medical, financial, psychological, or other professional decisions. We make no claim that a reading is accurate, predictive, or capable of influencing events or outcomes. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional or a local support service. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
3. Plans, purchases and billing
A single reading costs $3, or $15 for ten. We also offer a subscription at $20 a month or $200 a year, which includes one reading each day; additional readings beyond that can be purchased at the same prices. Premium voice narration and additional card decks are separate one-time purchases at $10 each. All products are digital and are delivered immediately. All prices are in US dollars, and the price shown is the price charged — no tax is calculated or added at checkout.
Purchases are not refundable once used. Because a reading is generated for you on request and cannot be returned, a reading credit or a subscription period stops being refundable as soon as a reading has been produced from it. An unused credit may be refunded in full within 14 days; a billing period in which you have taken no readings is refunded pro rata, keeping the days already elapsed and returning the rest of what you paid. Card decks and premium voice are non-refundable from delivery — they are added to your account in full the moment the purchase completes and are yours permanently, so there is no unused portion to return. Anything we got wrong — a charge in error, a double charge, a reading that failed to generate — is always put right. Payments and billing are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled; you can cancel at any time from your account (Manage billing), and cancellation stops future renewals while access continues to the end of the paid period.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or reverse- engineer it, no automated scraping, and no reselling or redistributing readings or features. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Content and intellectual property
Readings generated for you are for your personal, non-commercial use. The Esotarot name, software, and design are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, for entertainment purposes, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on a reading. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the service; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. You may stop using the service at any time.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
